AME Group, the commercial rights holders to the FOX Australian Supercross Championship, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with broadcasting giant the Seven Network, with the Newcastle Triple Crown set to be aired LIVE and free on Seven’s digital streaming platform, 7plus  on November 26th.

In a huge coup for the sport, the partnership will see the next stop of the FOX Australian Supercross Championship streamed live and on demand on 7plus, and will showcase this year’s Crown Jewel event as each gate drops.

AME Groups General Manager of Events and Commercial, Ben Williams, acknowledges the widespread reach of the Seven Network, and is thrilled to be able to deliver the spectacle of supercross to a new audience.

“We’re thrilled to be able to deliver the sport of supercross via the Seven Network to millions of homes all around Australia,’ commented Williams.

“Seven’s 7plus platform is incredibly successful and is something that continues to grow year on year, so for us to be able to align with them on this product and integrate supercross into their broadcasting is massive for the sport.”

For this year’s broadcast, the experienced Australian duo of Lee Hogan and Danny Ham will call all the action from the booth, with every gate drop, block pass, and championship tussle subject to expert analysis and commentary.

Heading into Newcastle, the four-time and defending SX1 champion Justin Brayton and CDR Yamaha rookie Aaron Tanti sit tied on points, while in the SX2 Class Englishman Max Anstie boasts a clean sheet of race wins and will look to add a third race win come Newcastle.

Additionally, Australian legend and two-time World Supercross Champion, Chad Reed, will be in attendance in Newcastle, and is set to make an appearance in the booth along with interacting with the supercross fanbase as he recovers from a recent hand injury.

The Newcastle Triple Crown is set to be the biggest Australian Supercross event of the year, with an expected 16,000 strong supercross fans in attendance and a multitude of initiatives on hand that the whole family can enjoy. From world class supercross action, to event activations and a fireworks show to cap it all off, the Newcastle Triple Crown will be an event to remember.

Timing for the Newcastle Triple Crown is set to commence at 6:15pm AEDT this Saturday, November 26th.
