Career Goals
I just want to race. All I’ve ever done since I was five was race dirt bikes. I still absolutely love racing, and there is no feeling like it in the world when you’re hitting all of the biggest jumps and all of that. All of the freeride stuff is so fun and it’s rewarding in its own way, but there is nothing like winning a race.
Career Challenges
After a breakout Rookie season in 2008, Josh Hill’s career came to an abrupt halt in 2010 when he shattered his right femur, pelvis, and humerus attempting an 80-foot backflip while training for X Games.
Pre-RACE PREPARATION
I just put everything I can into it and I really enjoy the training aspect of it, on the bike and off the bike. If I stay consistent with it, on certain nights, I can go out and run with the best guys in the world, and for me, that’s cool that I can still do that and it’s rewarding enough for me to keep putting the work in.
